Why Study Chinese Media?

Language learning is a complex process, but one of the best ways to create an effective learning environment is to emulate the target language's culture as much as possible. With the study of Chinese media, students will be exposed more fully not only to current events or important announcements in the target language, but also be enabled to gauge the direction of political trends. All this can be done while enhancing the four language skills (i.e., listening, reading, writing, and speaking).
